Kerstin Flügge studied psychology and fashion design, beginning her career at Adidas Group in Fontainebleau, France, as a Product Manager. She later joined Galeria, where she worked as a Store Manager after completing a trainee program. Her career then led her to Nike International, where she held the position of Apparel Merchandise Manager.

For over 13 years, she worked at Gebr. Heinemann, a leading travel retail specialist, managing more than 20 brand and duty-free shops at Frankfurt Airport and overseeing around 800 employees. Her expertise in leadership was key to her success in this role.

Kerstin Flügge entered the executive search field as a partner at the Swiss firm Formations Group. Since 2015, she has successfully led her own company, Flügge Consulting, as Managing Director.
